This is one of our traditional snacks that can be eaten any time. I have had them for breakfast sometimes. We make a rice batter for pancakes and stuff them with coconut mixed with jaggery, raisins and cardamom powder. I have a memory of my mother getting them ready when we returned from school as a tea snack. We simply loved them. What do you stuff you pancakes with? Is it maple syrup that you put? Your panncakes must be thick but ours are very thin

I do not make pancakes, but I make crepes that can be savory or sweet. The savory ones with ham, mushrooms and cheese. The savory ones with jam and sliced fruits, usually strawberries or peaches.

They sound good. Cardamom is a unique flavour which we don't use enough here.
