An evening of lights and illuminations

There's a light festival that's on display on the main road in the city. Last year we found it mesmerizing and mind blowing. We went with great expectations this year and found it a let down. The displays were mostly underwhelming and there were very few interactive ones. It was a cold evening, so that added to the disappointment. It was interesting enough to keep us for an hour though, so would not call it an evening wasted. Plenty of photographs and a burger dinner at 8 pm with friends still means a good time, doesn't it!

This is an interesting one. At least that you were able to capture those moments

It still sounds like a good evening. I'm sorry the light show wasn't what you expected.

That’s the thing with expectations — they really shape how we experience things. At least you still got some good photos and a fun dinner with friends! That counts for something!

That wouldn't be difficult to achieve.
If I sh1t out a patty and put it on a hotplate it would be better than McDonalds
