Is this a question that you have been pondering? Or asking yourself?
Sometimes you just wake up one day and think, "When did I get Old??"
It is a common thing that many can relate to.
I ran across this song with the same title on YouTube tonight and loved reading the comments! Have you heard this song before? It's by Derrick Dove & The Peacekeepers.

The link isn't active. I'll go look it up.
In 2005 I went blind. I was born blind in my right eye and a high speed carpet staple struck my left eye. The staple ripped apart the lens capsule and destroyed the lens.
I spent the next five years using aphakic (coke bottle) lenses. They were heavy and I got sick when I moved quickly. I tried for years to find a surgeon. Finally did. I had the surgery and when I opened my eyes there was a crowd of people around. I could see!!!
The first thing I said to my wife was Wow, did I get as old as you?
Everyone in the room laughed. Except one.

63 snuck up on me. I have an older brother that's your age.
I started to gray in my 20's but the stuff has gone white the past 5 years.
I was in a mall last year and walked in front of a mirror. I thought, that guy looks old. I smiled. The old guy in the mirror smiled. I felt deflated and walked away.

The youth won't listen to us, lol. We're Boomers to them.
I hope you have a great week too.

@Vikingswest1 In my mind I'm still in my 20s even though my body says otherwise. Remember when you thought you were invincible? The things I could tell the youth of today; but I wouldn't want to burst their bubbles. lolololol Have a good week.

My brother said he spent Sunday recovering from getting too hot on Saturday, and added, “Old men don’t do well in heat even if they drink a lot of water.” I told the ER nurse yesterday that I frequently forget that I’m 65 but things like my back will promptly remind me of that unpleasant truth.

I'm already 73 years old but some people I meet say I never get old. So as with my pupils ,45 years ago said that when we met in the mall, in the market. I don't know if they're saying the truth for I don't any wrinkles on my face.
