Thank God for Great Friends

The other day we were talking with my dad about everything that needed to be done around the house. It's not something we talk about often because it always makes him feel bad that he can't be here to help and even when he does get home he may not be able to help the way he would like. However, he did seem pretty relieved when we told him that our really good friend Keith, is coming over to help us out. We have a ton of yard work that needs done. Everything that happened with dad, happened so fast that we stopped taking care of most things and we spent the time with him in the hospital then the rehab center and now again in the hospital. There's inside things to catch up on as well but that's my department. I can handle that. Outside is a totally different story. I need to help and start painting the front porch though and the doors to under the house need done in the weather proofing stuff. We're so thankful for Keith though for coming over and helping with whatever he can. He's even bringing his own stuff over so that they can work together. Anyone else I ask never shows up so I'm very thankful.

Keith really is a good friend and glad that he's coming to help. Hope the weather cooperates and you can get a lot of that outside work done.

I hope so as well. I know that Mother Nature hates me. I wanted to have a yard sale this weekend but nope, thunderstorms are coming our way. One of these days I'll get rid of my crap lol. I did get rid of some piano books today so that's one thing out of my house. I may be taking books up to Crossville this weekend.

Right! I don't know if we would ever catch up without him.
