It's Too Early

Good morning everyone. It is 4:30 in the morning here and we've been awake since about 3:20. It works for us but he hit snooze so many times this morning we didn't get much time together. I got most everything done yesterday and I was really happy. I feel kind of guilty though. Our EMS inservice was canceled last night but instead of going up and seeing dad I stayed home and got a shower, played with my cats and cooked dinner. Just mundane things I haven't been able to take a lot of joy in lately. Today I'm at Chris's. She did me the huge favor of paying me for the week yesterday so I can get gas this morning. It will also let me catch up on a few things. I can pick a few things up from Walmart that I want. I really want nutter butters for some reason. We also need litter and raised food and water bowls for the cats. Pretty sure the milk needs replaced too. I've been getting the computer work finished. That makes me really happy because that's how I'm getting the money to expand my shop. The more I can save in gift cards the more I can do. It won't help with the laser engraver or the freeze dryer but everything else it will. I started organizing my books yesterday too. It sounds like a lot of work which it is with as many books as I have but it's also my happy place. My husband agreed it's time I made a little time for me with everything else going on. Today is my dad's birthday....I should have led with that lol. He is a big old 8-0 today and even though we're celebrating in the hospital we're all in great spirits. He got the awesome report from the doctor and as of yesterday we're still on track for him to go back to rehab next week. He's getting a steak dinner tonight with a baked potato and asparagus. I have to come home, make that and take it up. Tomorrow is my mom's birthday. I'll be picking up an Olive Garden dinner. She loves the salad and spaghetti so that's what she'll get. I'm making cake but not until this weekend. It'll be a good few days. I caught up on laundry yesterday too. I have the last load of clothes in the dryer but that won't take me long to fold. There's not much activity in the shop right now. I have two sets of business cards to do and the windspinner. I still need to figure out the race track around the outside lol. I'll get there. It's that time of year where I talk about football almost 24/7. Everyone ready for this? LOL It's going to be a good day today. Positive vibes only. What are y'all up to?
