I get questions here asking about ghee. Let me explain
Ghee is made from milk cream. Most Indian homes make it and use it. It is also available in stores.
We used to make it in the good old days but these days the milk that we get hardly produces cream. We buy ghee
Cream is collected for a few days and is heated on slow fire until you see the ghee. You drain out the ghee and what is left can also be eaten.
Ghee adds flavour to any dishes that has it. It is also applied on paranthas.

You can make it. You must be getting milk with a lot of cream. The smell when it gets ready is so good.

@allknowing i meant the teaspoon of ghee poured over the hot plain rice. Then we have it with sabjis.
Ghee rice is different from what I've been talking about.
