It's Thursday....I Think

So I'm a little slow this morning. I did not sleep at all last night then we had some severe storms roll through early this morning. Needless to say, it was just a horrible night. We went up to see dad for his birthday yesterday. I made the steak and the potato and the asparagus. He really enjoyed it even though he only ate about half. At least it was something. Mom got him balloons and they were on the end of the bed. Mom had called saying that the doctor had come in and updated them but he was talking over her head using medical terms and stuff. So I told her if he came in again and I'm not there to call me and put me on speaker phone. That's pretty rude to me and all it usually does is instill more fear in the patient and the family. I got all my computer work done yesterday so I'm hoping for the same result today. If I cashed everything out right now I would have $25 and I'm just going to wait right now. Eventually it will add up more. As for my shop, well that is going good. The orders always seem to come in at once, never steady. I have the windspinner to finish, I do believe I have figured out what I'll be doing for it. Then there's two sets of business cards for a local real estate agent. The shirts have shipped that I'm re-making for a customer. It was my mix up so I'm fixing it. Now I have the possibility of a few crystal orders. I love making crystals lol. I also spent yesterday advertising some of my resin work. The spooky season stuff, some Christmas stuff and some things I just like to make. I spend all my time advertising all the sublimation that I can do, it was way past time to show off my resin. I have a container full of it lol. We were officially served with court papers yesterday. We have a civil case on my husband's capital one card trying to collect the money. It was supposed to be taken care of...well, that didn't work now did it. It's not until October so I'm sure I can figure something out by then. I'm not avoiding it, we just consolidated and JG Wentworth was supposed to take care of it and I never heard from them. I had a few hits on a couple yard sale things yesterday. One person was interested in the tumbler blocks and one was interested in the shorts I have for sale. No answers back yet but I'm hopeful. It would help. Everything seems out of my control right now and I think that's part of my problem right now. I don't know when I became a control freak but I did and if I don't have control it's hard on me. I think it's why I didn't sleep. I'm hoping that it rains this weekend so I can get some house work done instead of outside. I know that both need done but next weekend Keith is coming over so I would get out of it. So much needs to be done but I'm going to enjoy baking a cake for my dad Saturday. I'll be making him a German Chocolate cake. It's mom's birthday today so I get to annoy her when she gets up and I'm super excited about it. What's everyone else doing today?
