Some People Just Suck The Life Out of The Room

Some people are just sad sacks. Downers. They take all of the fun out the room when they enter it or join in a conversation. You know these people, right? 1. They complain constantly I mean we all vent sometimes but nothing's ever right for them. They send back their order at the restaurant all the time, etc 2. They dominate every conversation You can't get a word in edgewise with them and their stories that could be told in 3 minutes take 15 minutes 3. They always think the worst They're like Eeyore. 4. They fear silence—so they talk nonstop 5. They are unhappy when other people are filled with joy They lack self-awareness and don't even realize that they're annoying and sucking the life out of the room. Except for my friend Sarah. Nobody else likes her or wants to be around her. But she knows it and she knows why but claims she can't help being that way and can't change it. Who comes to mind when you think of someone like this?
