Investment Scams

Someone’s been bugging me with repeated calls, trying to convince me to invest in their “platform.” There have been several attempts already, including foreign calls and ones showing Singapore numbers—but I’ve been refusing to answer. It started to feel shady, so I did a bit of research. Sure enough, the site has red flags all over it. Many people say they never got their money back after investing, and were tricked into putting in more after being shown fake profits.
It’s honestly frustrating how persistent and convincing these scams can be. Just a heads-up—always check before you invest. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Thank you. I was just wondering if those kinds of organizations are permitted to operate there. Since they are an established business there according to my investigation and research, I'm not sure if they are merely using the company name to appear legitimate.

@id_peace I got confused before they said they were in Singapore. However, the number that called me was from the Philippines. When I ignored their call, they switched to a Singaporean number, but I refused to answer any of their subsequent calls. They claim to be a forex trading company that offers a 20% return on investments of at least $500 USD.They even claimed that the investment is insured, so that if it is lost, I can receive a full refund....

In my case, someone called me in my language and claimed to be from Singapore, but when I checked the number, it was from the Philippines. Then, when they called me back, the numbers were already showing Singapore numbers, possibly to convince me they were in Singapore. I investigated, and they do exist in Singapore, but they have shady transactions, and feedback is extremely negative, according to some online reviews.
