What a movie! I was watching the Actors Studio on YouTube and the guest was Edward Norton. Such a good actor. I was surprised I hadn't seen it. Then I looked at who was in it. As well as Laura Linney was Richard Gere. YUCK! I never liked him and he was the featured actor in this. I don't think he's that good looking and his acting is mediocre at best No wonder I never saw it until tonight. So I watched it just now. Norton was so good. Excellent performance. I have always been interested in multiple personality disorder cases, or what they now call DID(Dissociative Identity Disorder). When I was in the looney bin back about a dozen years ago I interviewed a DID patient. Very interesting woman. Horrible childhood and the only way she could cope with the horrors was to disassociate. She had several other personalities, some were male. Then, of course is the story of SYBIL. A true story of a woman trying to make it in the world but kept having times where she would lose time. And, there is also one I think it was called All About Eve. That was good too. I feel so badly for them. What an childhood they must have had.
