I can’t watch a scary movie when I am on my own !

So, I have been catching up on a few series on Netflix. I have just finished Ginny and Georgia. The next one I was going to watch was The Night Agent. It had come recommended. However I have just started to watch and although if it were day time I would have no problem watching , as it is evening here it is too scary to watch on my own when it’s dark. Do you think I am a scaredy cat ! I do….. Do you like a scary movie ?

I don't watch scary movies with or without other people! I get nightmares and have screamed loud enough in my sleep to bring neighbors out of their houses in the middle of the night! I don't want that to happen again and I'm sure they don't either!

I’m okay in the day when it’s light . I’ve never had nightmares from watching a scary film ….though there always a first time.

@Traceyjayne I didn't watch them when I was a kid but my first wife LOVED scary movies and she got my daughter hooked on them when Pretty was still little. (Have you ever watched the "Chuckie" movies? My ex told Pretty that Chuckie was her brother and he didn't live with us because he was making too many movies... Pretty believed her and went around telling people that Chuckie was her brother.) Pretty had bright red hair when she was little and that was the hook that got Pretty to believe her... We were still together when I woke the neighborhood with my night-time screams... My wife made fun of me for years for having nightmares. Pretty at 21 months old. She loved that outfit and thought it made her look just like Chuckie. Photo is mine.

@DaddyEvil I love that story. I have not seen the film but I know who Chucky is. How did Pretty take the news that Chucky wasn’t actually her brother !

I like scary movies (NOT gory movies), and at home I watch them by myself. Only one time has it come back to bite me: Paranormal Activity. I watched it, said that wasn’t scary, and went to bed. Two minutes later, I got up, turned the light on, and slept with the light on the rest of the night.

I like scary movies like the classic horror movies from the era of the late Vincent Price, the late Boris Karloff and the late Bela Lugosi.
