Touched Down

I am in the Philippines and it was raining hard a couple of minutes after my plane touched down. It had been raining cats and dogs today my friend said. I am happy to see there were no floods along the way. It seemed there are really many fake news spreading. What's the weather like in your area?

The flood will depend on where you are. But as I said a while ago, the past Monday and Tuesday was much more aggravating than today. I personally experienced the flood of Taft avenue last Monday and it's more than what I experienced during my college years in the 90s I'm glad your home. Do you still have a domestic flight or your staying in Manila?

You did see on the news and the local Philippine weather radar that more bad weather is heading your way, right? You picked a bad time to take a vacation there. Just be careful, please.

@Neil43 That's too bad... It's the worst time of year in your country.

I had no choice because this is the only time we can take vacation in my school.

You're lucky that the area you were in was not flooded. But many areas in Metro Manila are flooded.
