Walmart Shoppers are going nuts for these Haring (sic) Aids.

Do you think many of the ads we see online are untouched by human hands? AI bothers Me. It makes me both a bit angry and a bit lonely. Right now I am seeing ads for LL Bean (I do buy clothing there), Guitar Center (I check out guitars there), and trucks (I was recently shopping for a truck). I don't mind targeted advertising. It means I get to see things of interest to me. I am a bit young for cremation, and I am not interested in a hot Ukrainian bride, but those ads are fun and silly. Some ads are totally random, like the one I got for hearing aids this morning. And it's extra obvious that they were AI generated. The bots did not even spell "hearing" properly..No human checked that ad before it went out on the internet. It's that kind of thing that makes me angry and lonely. Does AI ever bother you? Do you ever get really silly ads?

Maybe it was for a herring aid? Or a harrying aid...

It doesn't really bother me too much. We're using ChapGPT more and more and finding it remarkably helpful.

@TheHorse It's an AI site. You can ask it anything. We've used it to get all sorts of background information. We were checking out a house in a Melbourne suburb and it gave all the rates and fees that were applicable for the area. It saves so much time and wading through stuff trying to get the information.

I do get silly ones, some are vulgar and others are my cup of tea.

I bet it saves as much money for Big American Corporations as hiring Filipinos and Indians who do not speak English.

Nope actually AI helps me in that when I search for something it puts up some facts and then I continue to check things out and sometimes it reminds of things I have forgotten to check, Right now we are becoming sort of buddies,
