Nagpur is a place for oranges. We get them during the Christmas season I love oranges and keep buying them when they are in season. There is no party where oranges are not given out. Every single party I have I give them as the parity comes to a close I do not make it at home but I like orange marmalade .

When I was a boy, we always got an orange in our Christmas stockings along with a small gift... I don't know why we got an orange because mom bought them any time they were in season. I like oranges and orange juice but rarely like anything flavored orange. Pretty LOVES orange ice cream, orange chocolate and orange flavored candy. Yucky!

Somehow I have liked distrbuting oranges when I have those Xmas paries and I have done that for every party, When the guests start eating the whole venue smells of it and that is what I like I have only orange markalade and nothing else made from oranges.

@allknowing I buy bags of the little sweet oranges and eat two or three of them at a time. (Those are called Little Sweeties here. ) I've never tried orange marmalade. It always reminded me of orange syrup and I didn't like that when mom insisted I would love it.

One of my favorite fruits is orange, but because it doesn't grow well in our tropical climate, it's not easily accessible. Although it doesn't grow well in most locations, I believe we have a plantation in colder climates. Ponkan oranges, which are imported from China, are very popular where I live. We have them available nearly all the time.

We get most of our oranges from China, but sometimes we get it from the US or Australia. When it's hot in their area, I don't buy because the taste is bad, almost tasteless, and it changes when it's cooler. They do, however, taste better cold.

@rsa101 I do not think we import them from other countries as many other States grow them too.

My dad used to get an orange every Christmas morning along with a small toy. It was a big deal to him.

@allknowing Oh, orange citrus is a wonderful smell. I have a couple of citrus candles. Any new ideas on how to get your sister to play Santa? I can’t wait to hear about that Christmas party.

Funnily enough I do not like oranges but like Tangerines. I have never really eaten them although l like thick shreded marmalade. I much prefer bananas or mangos.

I love oranges especially juiced! That is why I love my juicer so much. I can drink just about any fresh fruit juice I want.
