This has been the fourth day straight that rains has been pouring in my place.. My phone rang again and the orange rainfall warning was again issued same time. No rain has arrived in my place. But its quite obvious that it will rain since there is no sun in sight and thick gray clouds cover my place. I am just observing that the rain breaks are getting in long intervals now making the floods drain first before another sets of rain comes.

I'm glad there are long breaks before more rain falls there now. Maybe all the flooding will go away now.
I still see there are typhoons trying to form in the seas around the Philippines. I hope the new ones don't make landfall.

There are actually two active typhoons, one in the west but at sea and not expected to make landfall. Then one appeared from the east, and it will undoubtedly strike our island's northernmost tip. Fortunately, we are a long way from there. However, with monsoon rains in our area, these two typhoons will intensify the rains. It has begun to rain, and I believe it will continue until around lunchtime. There may be a few hours of break in the afternoon before returning at night.

@rsa101 Yes, I've been watching the two storms develop on the Philippine Weather Radar online...
I hope you're right and it doesn't wash anyone away.

@DaddyEvil I hope for that as well. Many places that are unfortunate enough to be below sea level seek assistance from the national government. Aside from floods, we must also keep an eye out for landslides on the mountainside.

We have a rather odd pattern It pours and then stops for while for the sun to shine and this pattern repeats almost the whole day.

@allknowing I see in here it pours strong and long before it rests thats why in some low-lying areas they easily get flooded.

Yes thats true but with the few periods of stopping could finally drain the rain in th drainage. Its not true that it is non stop rains there are a few hours the rain would stop too and their frequency has been observed having ling breaks before another one comes.
