Hulk Hogan.

I was scrolling through TikTok a few minutes ago, and in between all the tributes and videos about Ozzy Osbourne, I came across one that claimed Hulk Hogan had died. Since it wasn’t from a credible news source, I immediately went to Google, assuming it had to be a hoax. It just felt… off.
But right there at the top of the search results was a TMZ article from less than an hour ago, confirming that Hulk Hogan passed away this morning from cardiac arrest.
Honestly, it caught me off guard. It didn’t hit me quite like Ozzy’s passing earlier this week—that one rocked me—but it was still a shock.
If you’ve somehow been living under a rock since the '80s and don’t know who Hulk Hogan was, he was a “professional wrestler” who helped turn wrestling into the pop-culture spectacle it became. He was easily one of WWE’s most recognizable stars in the '90s. He also famously opened (and quickly closed) a pasta restaurant called Pastamania—a name play on Hulkamania, the wild craze he sparked back in 1994.
He was larger than life, a little goofy, and undeniably iconic. He’ll definitely be missed.

I just saw this and told my mom. She watched wrestling back when he was larger than life. He's huge now as well and I loved him in the few movies he did. I can't say I kept up with him though.

That's sad to hear. It wasn't as if he was that old either.

@thislittlepennyearns Nowadays, 71 doesn't seem that old to me but that might be because I've passed it.

@JudyEv I don't think I realized you were that old , I think I thought you were in your sixties.

He was 71, so he was decently old.

Yeah He didn't reconcile with her that's just really sad. But you know he had good and bad side. He will be missed.

I wouldn't say I was or am a big WWE fan, but I generally watch Wrestlemania every year.
