Dinner Time!

Or rather time to put dinner on! I was thinking about spaghetti tonight, but the hubby vetoed that because he was up last night with acid reflux. So the menu has changed to hamburgers since that is what kind of meat I thawed out. I thought about meat loaf, but that requires the use of the oven and that is a no go!
It's been a quiet afternoon except for the thunder which started around 12:30 pm today. I made a quick trip to town to the pharmacy to pick up hubby's refills and my new prescriptions from my doctor visit on Tuesday.
I did not beat the rain home and got caught in a downpour as I was driving up to the pharmacy. It didn't last long and I made it inside without getting totally drenched. I came back home and took a rest by laying in bed and reading.
The rain had cleared out, the thunder continued in the distance and we got some more rain around 6 pm tonight. Another heavy rain. It looks like we will have more rain tonight according to radar.
So, what are you having for dinner tonight?

As I perhaps told you earlier, my dinner is vegetarian and simple. Just a little rice, chapaties, lentils, green vegetables and a glass of cow milk mixed with honey.

I had mango peach sweet heat chicken tenders for dinner last night. I got them from the deli at the grocery store.

@kareng It's a limited time offering they have right now. It seems like every couple of months they change it out for another special offering, and they are always on point with their specials.

Tonight I will have the usual. A chicken/Muenster sandwich, chips and an ice cream bar. I am hoping that cousin #3 can make my frozen pizza for me tomorrow.

@kareng They really are. In fact, I may have to put them on the list and make some soon. But yeah, the first night it's nice to go easy. I mean, it's a long start to the day getting loaded up, then hooking up and pulling, unloading and setting up the camper. It makes you pooped. lol

@Tampa_girl7 I know and agree! I have been there myself. Mine seems to be under control a bit now, but I have also been eating better too.

I don't like spaghetti. I had the stomach flu and had eaten spaghetti before I knew and it was not pretty.
We had Taco bake, lol I posted about it a little while ago.
