It's no secret that I live in the South. Living in the south comes with a lot of "special" food things. Not really recipes but I guess ways of making things. One of the ones I've heard over and over is butter on pop tarts. Sounds, not that strange does it? You get a freshly warmed/toasted/baked(/whatever you do with yours) pop tart and then you spread butter on it. Then you chow down. Nothing that exciting but something that I feel is a southern thing, and not something I even knew existed before moving down here. Is this something you've ever heard of? Or eaten?

I've never heard of it, but depending on the flavor, I'm open to trying it.

@thislittlepennyearns I like most, but these four come to mind: cherry, raspberry, pumpkin pie, and sugar cookie. I like to eat Cool Whip with the pumpkin pie one lol.

@tammys85 There's a pumpkin pie one? WHAT? I accidently made my own coffee drink this morning. I have some Taxo Chai Tea Latte stuff in the fridge and mixed it with some milk and pumpkin spice and it was so good. LOL

Which Pop Tarts do you like the most? I loved the Wildberry flavor when I was growing up. But haven't seen them in stores in a long time. We usually buy strawberry and brown sugar cinnamon these days.

Never heard of that. Mind you, it must be 45 years since I had Pop tart. Bought them a couple of times for my kids.

I was never fond of pop tarts at all, not sure why. One of my older grandsons loved the strawberry iced ones, I tasted them but they are just not for me. I know that a lot of people love them.

The kids like them. We used to keep them in the house more often. But not in a while.

@thislittlepennyearns I used to try to have homemade muffins, etc. for them and tried hard to make what they liked, but I know you do that as well. And teenagers eat a LOT of food.

@MarieCoyle They do. Both kids love those Tennessee Pride mini sausage biscuits. We've gone through eight boxes of them in a month. He child will eat 3 2 packs in one sitting.
