Typhoon Emong made its second landfall in the northern parts of Luzon, bringing strong winds and heavy rainfall to that region. Weather authorities have issued a storm surge warning for the coastal communities, urging residents near the shoreline to take necessary precautions and evacuate.
According to news reports that I watched just a while ago, there were several landslides that occurred in areas under Signal No. 3, resulting from the continuous downpour and unstable terrain. Emergency response and rescue teams have been deployed to assess the damage and assist affected communities. Residents in high-risk areas are advised to remain alert and follow official advisories for their safety.
I hope there will be no casualties.

There were many trees that were fallen during the typhoon which damaged electric poles and cables. We had no electricity for 2 days.

@rakski Yes, it's back after two days, but there are still parts of La Union that electricity isn't restored yet.

I'm not aware of its landfall; I just noticed that the rains began around 9 or 10 a.m. here and will likely continue until 2-3 p.m. When it made its second landfall on the Batanes islands, it meant it was already leaving our country, with the hope that it would be a sign of good weather in the coming days.

I hope there were no deaths, too. Good luck to everyone in the affected areas.
