I was raised Christian, and those values are still part of who I am — faith, forgiveness, hope. But now that I’ve been learning about Buddhism, I’ve found a different kind of peace. It doesn’t conflict with my past beliefs, strangely — it deepens them.
For example, both Christianity and Buddhism talk about compassion and surrender. In Buddhism, it’s letting go of ego and control. In Christianity, it’s surrendering to God’s will. Different paths, but similar messages.
I wonder — can someone walk with both? Draw wisdom from Christ and still sit quietly with Buddha?
Just curious — has anyone else tried blending spiritual traditions, or learned something surprising from a different faith?

@allknowing That is also true, but there is always a foundation for that truth, which is where we dig deeper and gain a better understanding of why they are the way they are. Religion or belief systems may provide an answer or evidence that you are on the right track.
