It's another hot Florida day with bright sunlight. Not that I'm not thankful for it. I'm also 42 today, too. But, those things are just random content. What this post is is about is something different.
You see a little over a week ago, our mailbox broke off the post. Since I can't fix it myself, I did the next best thing, put it on the portch. Welll, for a little over a week we haven't been getting snail mail. Yesterday, the mail carrier brought the mail to the door because we so-happened to be outside. Told us it had to be on the curb. Okay, fine.
Today while George was out, he caught our neighbor from the across the street that says he can fix it. Hence the title.

We had to re do our mail box on the road last year. It had to be so many inches high, and so far off the pavement, etc. The old one needed replaced anyway. I got one that I thought I could put in without concrete, and it sat here. By the time I was ready to do something, Bob was feeling perky. He got the truck going, took a chain to the old post, and pulled it out, concrete and all. We used the same hole, mixed up some quick crete and are happy with the results. I am glad George is taking care of getting it fixed for you.
