Again, I didn't get a picture of dinner. We kind of ate dinner at different times tonight. Because it was so late when I made it. I wasn't going to make dinner twice just because the boys were out. So I waited till they came home and then made it for everyone.
It wasn't that exciting. But it was filling.
I made spaghetti and garlic bread. I was going to make a salad too, but since I'm the only one who eats them. It seemed like a waste, because I wasn't even that hungry.
So that's what we had for dinner here. What went on the table at your house?

I baked chicken, made mashed potatoes and gravy, used a boxed stuffing and steamed fresh asparagus. I am fat, dumb and happy.

Homemade mashed potatoes or powdered?
I usually make homemade, but sometimes cheat and get the premade country crock you can get in the tubs lol.

I sometimes cheat too but since I cheated with the stuffing, I made real mashed potatoes. I made gravy from the chicken pan. Didn't get a lot but enough for the two of us.

@Vikingswest1 I love making gravy that way! My favorite way to make it at Thanksgiving ,but with turkey dippings of course.
I haven't made homemade stuffing in awhile. I used to make a cornbread based oyster stuffing.
We don't do stuffing a lot here. But I grew up with Stove Top.

Hmm salad are nice at times. especially when the vegetables are fresh.
My dinner is borderline boring with rice, curry chicken, egg, and curry vegetable.

I have a lot of zucchini, son wanted zucchini bake (has a meat/veg filling and cheese, etc.) so I made that for him. I usually serve it with a marinara sauce and I had it made for this, he ended up pretty much drowning his zucchini because he said the sauce was super good. Probably because I made it from fresh garden tomatoes, but either way, he loved it and so did I.
Your spaghetti sounds good. He asked if we could have baked spaghetti soon, so I guess we will.

That sounds good, for a late night meal
easy & fast & filling too I might add.
We didn't eat a big meal, we just ate
2 grill ham & cheese sandwiches for dinner.
