Stabbing in Michigan province of the US. Are we getting very impatient?

Eleven people were injured in the stabbing incident that took place at the Walmart supermarket in Michigan. It's understood that the suspect is 40+ old. Earlier there have been shooting incidents in schools by small children. The questions are, how such small kids got hold of guns, what was their mental health like, why are we getting so impatient these days... The list is endless. Such incidents and their causes need to be analyzed.
