I got home and spent the rest of the day trying to figure out what I needed to do to make the area I wanted the electricians coming on Friday to take care of.
On Friday 4 of them showed up, the guy who I saw on Monday and his helper, then the two guys who were going to actually do the work. They only replaced 2 plugs, but now I don't have extension cords on the floor.
I did a few things around the house so I didn't have to worry about if Julie would need to come home. I honestly didn't get a lot done, but I did work on it. I got Viv's walker out.
On Tuesday they sent her home. She got to the door and couldn't stand anymore. A fall is less controlled than what she had. It was more of an unexpected sit down. I called 911. I asked for an ambulance then decided we needed some cute firemen too, because getting Julie up was not going to be that much fun. I told them to take her to Seton Main. I had taken her to Seton NW originally, but I had a feeling she shouldn't have been sent home.
I tried to go by after my dentist appointment but she was in dialysis. I tried again after the pain doctor appointment on Thursday. Both time no go. I was on my way to see her on... Monday...? and she was in dialysis. So, I haven't see her since Tuesday before last. I have texted and talked to her, of course, but not actually seen her.
I am wiped out... but the best is yet to come...!
I hope you are having a better summer than I am.

So Julie just sort of folded up on the way to the floor? I hope she's okay and I agree, they sent her home too early.
about asking for "cute" firemen to come help Julie get off the floor.
(You should have asked if any of them wanted to stay and entertain you for a while.
They could have danced or just sat and visited...
)
My summer isn't that dramatic. It's just super hot in the middle of the US for the last couple of weeks. I've stayed inside in the A/C, read books or talked on myLot and cooked different delicious meals for myself and my daughter.

Actually... the cute firemen has a bit of history... maybe I'll make a post about that... later...
I'll update about the 'after fall' in another post.
Julie couldn't quite get her foot over the like half inch threshold. Then her knees sort of just gave out and while she did fall back a bit, she landed on her butt. {Not like the time Viv got to the door and then went down like the mighty oak. She was SO lucky I had a bag of cans behind her that broke the worst of the fall.} The firemen and EMT got her up on the gurney, the other EMT was holding the gurney. And off they went. There wasn't any doubt she was going to be admitted. And, the Seton Main hospital has more construction going on than the Seton NW did. I did not want to see her taken off, but I also really was sure they shouldn't have released her in the first place.

@ElicBxn It sounds like she definitely shouldn't have been released yet if she was having trouble getting inside the door.
I really hope they hang onto her until she can make it home and inside without a problem this time.
Usually, insurance doesn't want someone even slightly better to stay in the hospital. They consider that "wasting too much money". I've noticed that both Medicare and Medicaid do that... It's a shame, really.
I do want the story about the cute firemen, please... I'm sure it's a good/funny story.
BTW, how are you feeling? Everything okay with you?

@DaddyEvil I have never felt bad, despite the high blood pressure. Like I have said, if I hurt... if my pain is high, so is my blood pressure.
