July adventures part 3

I've been having trouble keeping up with Julie. She doesn't always respond when I text. So, Thursday, July 24th, I got to my GP. I told her about trying to go to the cardiologist people I had been to before. The best they could do was September... She went and found one who is part of this doctor's operation (business not surgical.) She got me in the next day. As I was driving home, I get a message from my geek friend. She had found a couple of guys living in basically a hovel. Now, one of them had been in the S.T.A.R. club with my geek friend and my wife had been in there too for a while. I went to the first meeting, realized who was wanting to control it and never went again. I did go to a few parties and that was how I reconnected with my wife. She asked if I had a place I could put them up. I said I had a room but it would have to be emptied. So, her daughter, son and a friend came over and got the middle of the room cleaned out. And now I have two guys in the house. Mind you, Julie is still in the hospital. The doc there told her that she shouldn't be putting any weight on her foot. Oh, and he wanted to take of the next toe. He explained to Julie it was the toe now or the foot later... Yeah... Julie asked me if I felt safe with these guys... I may have a few years on them, but I also have a few pounds on them and... OMG they did NOT need to be stuck out in the country on a road only an SUV or other off the road vehicle could transverse. The next day I saw the cardiologist. She said the medicine I'm taking is at the lowest dosage, so we can go up from there. She also ordered an echo-cardiogram for Monday. Should've taken 45 minutes, it was more like 90 minutes. But now I'm getting into the next week.

I hope the new roommate situation is going well... I don't want roommates... my daughter is okay but I'm used to cleaning up after her and she is useful at times when I can't see and need some kind of help. (She also pays all the bills since I have no income anymore.) So the other hospital DID release Julie much too early...

Yes, the other hospital let her out too early. I am sure they were pressured to do so. Since she had no insurance but I suspect they were trying to get her on Medicaid. They didn’t tell her to not put any weight on her foot. Things are progressing.

Good luck with all that. Sometimes having roomates is not really able to work out. But I hope it does for you.

The roommate in the hospital has been one for 7 years. These two men are supposed to be just until something else can be found.

I am hoping they will be staying for only a short time. I do not need any more yelling or threats. Since my geek’s husband came in I have only heard a raised voice once and I couldn’t hear words. Before I could hear everything.

I do too. Right now it’s probably a good thing Julie is in the hospital.
