I check on one of the Library books that I ordered (transferred to the library closest to me), and found that one is ready for me to pick up. This is (literally) The End of the A Series of Unfortunate Events series. That will be another one of the series' I've been reading that will be finished. The other books that I ordered/had transferred are still in transit. Hopefully I'll be nearly done with the book above before I need to pick up one or both of the others. In a bit I'll go and check the mail. I hope that all is going well with you in your part of myLot land!

Hi Stacey It's amazing that you can get a library open on a Saturday. We can't even get on during the week It's always closed for one reason or another

That's a shame.

@xstitcher It's criminal. We pay taxes to the council for services like a library Stacey. It's shocking that they make any excuses to make cuts to services

My library even open on Sunday to cater for people to bring their children to the library during the weekends and also for people who can only visit on weekends.

@porwest I am reading more non-fictions than fictions these days due to work and life.

I used to read more back in the day. But I had a stint as an editor in the late 90s and early 2000s which made reading seem like work, and it did something to stunt my reading interest and habits. I have never fully recovered from that.

@id_peace Non fiction seems to be more my fancy these days as well, honestly. My tastes have definitely changed.

Pleased to hear that you use your library as so many of them are closing these days.

I have to say, I have not stepped foot in a library for years. In fact, the last library I did, I was doing pest control services for it.

I wish you the best of good reading when the books that you have ordered come in soon.
