It was a pathetic year for us this time. The heavy raina and not having anyone to harvest the jack fruits meant collecting rotten jack fruits that started falling
The compost pits were filled with these rotten fruits.
In our entire life here running into over 30 years we have never had such a situation when we could not enjoy the fruits. This year we did not get a single fruit adn the trees were loaded..
Hopefully next year will not be such a disaster

And by the way Peppie refuses to eat the dry feed and keeps asking for fish I have given him some in the morning and hoping slowly he will start eating the dry feed as well

The problem with the jack fruits is they are high and getting climbers to harvest is an issue

@allknowing Oh our SEA farmers will use a cherry picker or ladder to access to these fruits.
The only one that were left alone are coconut as nothing seems to be able to pierce their hard fruit skin and durian as they need the durian to drop to the forest floor.

@id_peace It is the height that bothers the climbers when it comes to jack frits We have no problem with coconuts. We get climbers here Jack fruits cannot be dropped but coconuts can be.
