Firefighters in Maryland rescue 6 persons trapped in floodwater.

Firefighters in Bethesda Maryland answered an emergency call on Thursday July 31 when floodwaters hit the area which trapped a woman, two children and three others who were in need of being recued who were trapped. The firefighters arrived at Bradley Boulevard and Mercy Hollow Lane with the auto pressed against a guardrail that was partially submerged in the floodwater. Three persons were rescued from the partially submerged auto when the firefighters went on a second rescue mission where a woman was with her two children who were in need of being rescued when their auto was submerged underwater with an eight year old child was on top of the auto while a two year old child was with either his or her mom who was inside the submerged auto. The firefighters were able to save six persons in a floodwater due to their intense training regimen that paid off according to Montogomery Fire and Rescue Captain James Leinhauser.
