It was during the pandemic we stayed away from meat and fish as standing in those queues was not safe as others standing there were never responsible. We did not want our maid to get affected.
It has stayed that way and it is over six years and I am happy with my diet. Besides other staple foods I have introduced paneer in my diet which is loaded with nutrients
It is strange that I do not miss meat and fish that used to be my staple diet for years.

I would miss meat and fish.
It would take a lot of getting used to not having both

@allknowing I regularly buy cottage cheese. The doctor recommended to be sure I serve fish and white meats to my husband. Red meat is not necessary. I serve salmon at least once a week.

This is cottage cheese which is different from cheese I am the proof that one can carry on without missing meat and fish
The other food I eat more than compensates whatever I am missing

People always think that it is hard to give up meat and fish. It’s really not. I was vegetarian for twenty years and there are so many amazing foods to eat that meat and fish don’t enter your head….

I did take meat and fish during the pandemic and do take them now. I love paneer and take them frequently.
