Autumn Richards who is a resident of Sylva North Carolina is thankful for the response from the local fire department came to the rescue of herself and her relatives when a tree fell on top of their home on Thursday evening during a thunderstorm.
Autumn and her relatives were trapped inside of their home when the firefighters arrived and used their equipment to cut the trees around their home and they were able to get out of their home safe and sound after a family member contacted 911 for help.
Even though the house was destroyed, Autumn is thankful that thanks to local charities, her family will have another to live in a while since material items can be replaced. Lives cannot be replaced.

That is true since a home can be rebuilt.

Wow! I bet he was. I recall being at my BFFs one night when there was a big storm. Her mom was in the kitchen when we heard a big crash. We all ran down to see what had happened. A big tree had fallen through the roof of the pantry just inches from where her mom was. Scary.
