So, to start off with, the guys are in. And the one is YELLING at the other one. It was very disturbing.
My geek friend and her husband came over to talk. Then, they were barely out of the house and he started up again. The good news, the husband was sent back in. I don't know what he said, but my blood pressure doesn't need that kind of stress, I suspect he told them that.
I know the one wants to leave, he says he wants to go to California. My geek says he should want to go to Oregon because they do allow assisted suicide. He says he has ALS and wants to die.
I had a best friend who's mother had it and because she had broken her back as a teen, it started there and went down before going up. She didn't actually die of it, but it had weakened her body enough that what would've been a mild infection killed her. (I say had a best friend because she died in 1998.)
It was better after the yelling stopped. I can see 'W's take, I would also be yelling if I was being ignored. However, I can also see 'D's side that he feels stuck in this situation he wants out of with someone he wants to leave.
So, on Friday I got the results back from my echocardiogram. It is very normal. Here is what the doctor sent: "The results of your echocardiogram are normal for your age. Overall you have normal heart structure and function and there was no significant abnormality. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns."
So, the final bit is that Julie has now lost the front half of her foot.
I know I'm going to have to do something in her part of the house, so far I have that part of the house blocked off with nearly everything she had sitting in the hallway in front of the door to the room the guys are in and in the bathroom. I can just hope the guys will be out of the house before she comes home.
Now, after I was home, I had texted my sister about being in the hospital. That I had listed my brother as my emergency contact. She told me he was out of the country.
Great.
Not!
She was also busy, but called to ask why. I told her about the blood pressure. Now, she was aware of the fact I have had ongoing blood pressure problems so she asked what made me go that day. I explained about Julie...
After the guys got in, I texted that I wanted to talk and to call. She texted she was at her Japan reunion and would get to me when it was over.
Some how she learned about the guys... I don't know how. I explained why they were there. She asked how my geek knew them. I said that 'W' had been in the Star Trek club with my geek. He had also know my wife back before I had reconnected with her. He said he hadn't know she was blind. Well, she 'passed' very well.
Last things in July. When my brother got back he called and wanted to know about the hospital stay. I explained. I also explained I didn't really think I needed to be there, but the doctor had found a medication that was safe for me. Then Friday, technically August but... and asked if I would do lunch on Tuesday. I said yes. Then he said Tuesday wasn't good on his end and how about Wednesday. I said Wednesday was off and Thursday I had a dental appointment so it is changed to Friday.
And now we wind down the absolutely insane month of July, 2025.
And how was your July?

My July was filled with construction work being done on the house we're renting... New insulation blown into walls and ceiling to help bring our electric and gas bills down, caulking around all the windows, new locks on the windows, new a lot of things to help bring the utilities under control. There are still new storm windows to install, so the construction guys will be back, I just don't know when.
I would tell the guys that if they plan on yelling again, to pack their bags and yell outside as they move out. There's no reason for them to act like that. It doesn't matter what their problems are, you were nice enough to let them stay for a while. I'd point that out, too!

Since Tony spoke to them things have calmed down. I have been told that Dave has a bit of a hearing problem. So, a somewhat raised voice isn't bothering me. I do think Dave has somewhat selective hearing with Walter. I get so tired... I really need to go to bed early.

@DaddyEvil I think Walter thinks he's living here from now on. He asked what I do for Thanksgiving... yeah, I hope he's gone before then.

I had fun cutting back the overgrowth in Juanita's front and back yard, which both have a lot of shade so the hot weather wasn't so bad. But it really whacked me out and I didn't feel like doing anything the rest of the month when I got back home.
