The red hibiscus is the most common hibiscus in bengal

I have planted different types of hibiscus in pots in my balcony. Hibiscus is called jaba in bengali. Among the different types of hibiscus the red hibiscus is the most common of the lot. They dont have fragrance but the colour is bright.

I have read Hibiscus buds and flowers are edible and are rich in vitamin C. Dried, they are also used in herbal tea.
Have you ever used the parts for any food products?

thanks DB no i have not used them. I suppose the parts of the flower in herbal tea must make it delicious

Yeah I too have a red hibiscus flower plant it's beautiful though.
