side effect of cold medicine

Last week i always ate medicine because i got cough,and runny nose,headach.etc
in last week,i always feel sleepy during daytime due to side effect of medicine.However since this Monday,i fell recover and no longer ate medicine,suppose the side effect would disappear as medicine stop.On the contrary,the side effect still be with me,i felt greatly dozy at office last morning,i couldn't bear it,then had a nap of 30mins in toilet.Seems the side effect is more serious after stop medicine.This situation affected my work,never anticipate the side effect can continue so long,now the medicine solved one problem,but caused another problem.i am thinking whether i need rest more,or see doctor again,or take another medicine to overcome side effect?

No medicine is free from side effects and your sleepiness may not have anything to do with the side effects even after you have stopped taking them You better consult a doctor.

Yes,I try to overcome every cold without medicine,if i ineed can't bear,will have medicine.

Drink iced coffee.
Anyway, you don't intake medicine when you have to drive, that's very dangerous.

Not sure,last week when i was eating medicine,indeed had naps more than usual,maybe i get used to it.

I think probably you haven't fully recovered yet and therefore you still feel sleepy. Or lately the weather is very moist and I even think it is like spring. Or you work so much and your sleeping time is not enough. It is normal. If I were you, I would just try to go to bed early at night to have more sleeping time. If it's not necessary, I don't want to go to see a doctor.

Better go to see a doctor if you still feel dizzy after stop taking the medicine.
