I went out this morning to feed the "Kids" and have a cigarette. Before I could even light the cigarette, I had Doves staring at me, and Nutty peeping around the tree at me. So I got all the food out...filled the Kitty Bowl and Water Bowl. Threw out the Bird Food on the area we put it. And went to put the corn on the feeders. I looked and Nutty was over at the neighbors yard. They have a tall dead tree trunk with a big metal green Praying Mantis on the top. He was at the top under the Mantis and laying down flipping around like a cat does when they are happy. Then he layed under the Mantis and watched me. When I got to the 2nd feeder, he hopped down from the trunk, and started coming towards me..stopped stood on his hind legs, and then dodged up our other oak tree and sat there watching until I was done. I went back to the garage, and he snuck over to the area where the bird food was and was stealing sunflower seeds from the birds. But, why he was doing that his 2 buddies came and ate his corn on the feeders. He saw them and came over and they played tag for a few rounds around the 2 trees. I had to go get ready for my appt, so when I came back out, he was on a feeder and Buddy was out there stealing sunflower seeds. Then, later I saw Blackie and he was checking out the cat we call Stripes walking through our yard. Stripes and Blackie fight. But, as Stripes stopped to look at Blackie, he was close enough, and I told Stipes he needed to keep going. Then I got a can of Blackie's wet food, and got his attention from Stripes. Stripes went across the street, and Blackie came to eat. That Stripes is a Bully. He belongs to someone, but not sure who. Anyway, everything is peaceful now. Another appt tomorrow for my left knee, but really haven't have much trouble with it. But I want it checked out anyway. I like to know what I am up against. This month is a busy month with appointments.
