Do you listen to or even play music to change your mood?
I find when I pay attention to the news and I pay attention regularly just to keep in touch with the rest of the world. But news can be absorbing.
Then at other times, I catch myself thinking of things that can lead to anxiety. It is a solution I have found if I am feeling that I've had enough. One's mind can race at least that is what I call it. My mind is flooded with thoughts some of which become repetitive. Like trying to find a solution to an unsolvable problem. I just need to take a pause and so take one.
Not everyone taste in music is the same. Below is an example I wish to share with you. I am listening to it now as I am writing this. It is a cover song / The Cure by Adele. Do you like cover songs? I do because for some reason I also take joy in all the talented non-professional musicians out there.

I don't listen to music. The only emotion music makes in me is annoyance.
Long time, no see! How have you been doing?
