Doves are Strange

I was sitting in the garage having a smoke. Some Doves were in the yard eating. I had not put out the food yet. One Dove kept coming closer. Backed off a few inches. Then came closer. That Dove ended up not more than 2 feet away from where I was sitting and just kept looking at me. Then I realized I had not fed them. She was wanting to know if I was ever going to feed them. Then I looked up at the Oak Tree..and there was Nutty looking at me. I was done with my cigarette, so I loaded up everything and fed the "Kids". They were happy happy. Went to see the orthopedic doctor about my left knee, and found out I have Arthritis. WOW who would have ever guessed an old woman would have Arthritis? That word that I hate came up...SHOT...I declined as it really wasn't hurting today. Stopped at the grocery and came home. I had a Salami and Ham sandwich for supper. Tom made him an Omelette. Then later we were sitting in the garage, and I went back inside. Tom called me on my phone to tell me that as soon as I got up and left, Blackie came inside the garage and sat in front of my walker. I went out and there he was. I got the flashlight and loaded up some dry food as he had already had his wet food for the day...and went out to the Lean-to and fed him. That is the first time he has ever done that. Tom said he just walked in and sat down and looked at Tom as if to say, well, aren't YOU going to feed me? Funny..I am wondering what would happen if we couldn't feed them? I will always find a way to feed them. I love watching them. I have the day off tomorrow...no appointments. Gonna try and see if I can get into my other computer. Been putting it off long enough.
