Hairspray

There was a time when using a hairspray was a must thing specially while dealing with long hair. I used to do a French Roll and for that to remain in place hairspray was used.
I have not used it for years as I now have short hair and I use a hat while travelling so that the hair remains in place.
I wonder if hairspray is now in fashion at all.

Yes, hairspray is still in fashion, but modern hairsprays are very different. Modern hairsprays are lighter, less sticky, fix your hair with a more natural-looking hold No more the stiff, lacquered styles of the past. I use it if I need to go out soon after I washed and styled my hair.

@allknowing - I remember how sticky the hairsprays were in the 70s and 80s, the quality has improved a lot.
