Not Every Corner Is Meant to Be Turned

Some we turn without thinking. Some we hesitate at. And some… we stand on for a while, just to take it all in. Yesterday, I found myself at one such corner — not just a physical place, but a meeting point of music, memory, and meaning. There was art on the wall, music in the air, and a stillness that made time slow down. It made me realise — our journey isn’t only about moving forward. Sometimes, it’s about pausing at that corner, feeling everything it has to offer, and then carrying that feeling with us. Maybe life isn’t about the road ahead, but the moments where we stop… and truly see.

My Mum once said that if she had known what was around the corner, she wouldn't have gone there. lol

Haha, I love that! Sometimes ignorance is bliss, right? But I think we all have those moments where we wish we could know what’s coming, or where we stand on the other side of a decision. I guess the journey wouldn't be as interesting without those corners to turn—no matter how surprising they may be!

I think it is about preparation on what i ahead of us. And yes, we don't just go forward without thinking. We really need to pause and start thinking and analizing our journey status. Coz if we just keep moving forward we might not notice the things we pass by that we need to take as we move forward to overcome what it ahead of us until we reach our destination. God bless.

Absolutely, Luisa! Life really is about preparation, and we don’t always realize what we might miss when we rush forward. The pause, the reflection, and the awareness of where we are—those moments can be as important as the destination itself. Thank you for that reminder; it's definitely something to keep in mind as we move through life. God bless you too!
