Bill and Ben….The flowerpot Men

When we were at the antique centre today a couple of things caught my eye. Two original models of Bill and Ben ….The Flowerpot Men. They are almost 12 inches tall. They are obviously outdoor things and have been outside ….the condition is not perfect. They were priced at just £10 each ….although no one would buy just one, it’s got to be the pair. Our neighbours saw them when we got home and are so jealous. For those who have no idea who Bill and Ben are …..they are little figures that were made out of flowerpots and lived in a garden. Their friend was Little Weed. They even had their own language. They were a popular tv show from the 50’s/60’s. A children’s programme. I had to have them as they are part of my childhood.
