When I was in college, one of my hobbies was playing the guitar. With simple strokes and riffs, you can accompany almost any song. My favorite songs to play were "Guitar Man" by Bread and "The Boxer" by Simon & Garfunkel.
I wanted to play "Hotel California," by the Eagles, but it was too complicated for my basic skills. These were the popular songs then.
What about you? Do you play the guitar? What are your favorite guitar songs? What do you think is the best guitar song?

I do play guitar. I even have an album and a couple of other releases on Spotify and the other streaming platforms, and have posted a few covers around here from time to time. It's a lot of fun, and I'd say any good guitar song is one I can play and have fun with, even if I don't do it exactly like the original.

My sister used to play guitar, but I’m not sure if she still does. I never really got into music back in the day. I enjoy listening to good music, but playing it myself was never something I was interested in. Now, I just hum a tune every now and then, but playing an instrument has never really appealed to me. However, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve become interested in learning piano, though I don’t own one, so I’m content with listening to piano music online.

I used to have a guitar but it made my dog crazy. He was afraid of it; so I sold it.
