If it’s Sunday. It’s got to be roast dinner day !

Yes, it is Sunday again and that means it is roast dinner day. Today we had roast chicken ….my favourite ….roast potatoes, cauliflower , fine green beans, sage and onion stuffing and gravy. For pudding we had home made pancakes ….i will post about that later…. I always look forward to a roast dinner on a Sunday. It’s my very favourite meal of the week. What did you have for your meal today ? What’s your favourite meal ?

I had a ham and cheese sandwich on jalapeño/cheddar bread. It was really good. If I had a choice I’d eat fried chicken/fried potatoes a lot as it is my favorite, but that’s a terribly unhealthy meal. I haven’t had it in years.

Once in a while it would be ok for you to have it though. It’s a shame to miss out completely.

Roast chicken is so good, and I have to admit it has been a while since I have had one. The last few whole chickens were in the crock pot, and they're good, but it's fall off the bone and different. Tonight I am probably making baked chicken thighs. I wanted to grill them, but we got a bout of rain.
