Often, we express ourselves, our innermost desires, and our angst through poems. I'm not really a poet. However, there are times, I just can't help writing verses. The image is mine; it is one I created while dawdling online. I have the privilege of encountering some poets and writers here, from whom I've learned a lot, and I have immensely enjoyed their writings, as well. Do you sometimes write free verse or poems, too?

I write verses and poems, when I have the time It can be anything, anywhere, written in rhyme I can take just about anything, people or even events Like camping years ago, the kids sleeping in tents Mosquitos were bad, nothing but rain The entire trip was enough, to drive me insane Besides the bad weather, the rain and the bugs The trip turned out great, and ended with hugs. I guess I write Limericks more than poetry, lol.

I wouldn't say I am a good poet but I do write here and there. There are times I write good but most of the time it is okay.

I do them every now and then. I would have done them more if I had the luxury of time . I publish them on my blog. I write in English and Hindi( my mother tongue).
