Bremer Salisbury Steaks Tonight for Dinner

In some circles, this might be considered a dinner of champions. Okay, that's a stretch, I admit. I'll just go out on a limb and say, for the five people who might see this post and respond to it, it's good enough eats. Bremer Salisbury steak with buttered glazed carrots and macaroni and cheese on the side. Total cost? $3.59 for the Bremer Salisbury steaks from Aldi with 6 pieces in the box. 75 cents each for two cans of carrots from Dollar Tree ($1.50). And 49 cents for a Smart Way box of macaroni and cheese from Ruler Foods. $5.58. If I add in the cost of the butter for the carrots and the mac and cheese, and milk that will go into the mac and cheese, all said, we're probably at around $6 for the entire meal. I'd call that cheap, a win and like I said, good enough eats. So, what went on your dinner table tonight and did you calculate the cost? Enquiring minds want to know. BTW, these were some massive carrot slices, weren't they? lol

That looks so good. It's been hot the past couple days and humid. We are in our RV's on my son's property without electricity so to save on the generator, I cooked outside this evening. Grilled corn on the cob, burgers, and kielbasa. My son cut a watermelon, brought pretzel rolls and did a chopped salad. we have leftovers for tomorrow, supposedly our last heat day.

No electricity? I am assuming you can't run the air on the generator. That must be a scorcher. Our last two camps we had no choice but to run the air. But of course we were at campsites will full hookups.

I had my usual sandwich and chips. I'm hoping for pizza this weekend.

Roughly, that would be 340 pesos, quite reasonable, granting that it tastes sumptuous.

It was really good. Not gourmet, of course. But filled the bill rather nicely.

It's a very cheap meal. Granted, most of my meals are fairly economical.

That's look so yummy. My dinner is composed of a cup ruce, a Plantain, a piece of big fried fish (I don't know its name) and a cup of Cocoa with little sugar

I do like fried plantains, but I rarely have them.
