Today it has been hot, hot, hot.
What do you need on a day like this ……
Ice cold real lemonade
And
Ice cream
The lemonade was no problem. But when it came to the ice cream, I didn’t think that we had got any left …..
I went to check in the freezer, not expecting to find any …..then ….ah ha ….there is was …..
The ice cream container ….with just one portion……
Mint choc chip ….get in my belly !
What foodstuff would you be excited to see in the cupboard / freezer ?

I have never even thought there might be pumpkin ice cream. I don’t think we have that flavour in the UK

@Traceyjayne I’m not really sure how widespread it is in the United States. There is a Midwestern to Southern chain of fast food/grocery store (Braum’s) that makes their own brand of ice cream. Pumpkin is one of them, and it is the most delicious ice cream I’ve ever had. They are fairly inexpensive, but not cheap, and make the best milk and ice cream I have ever tasted.

@AmbiePam I wonder if I could find a recipe for it . I do make pumpkin soup and pumpkin cake . I would give pumpkin ice cream a go.
