Up early as usual, farm work included slashing, tilling and transplanting some 15 tomatoes. Also worked on eucalyptus and spruce seedlings. Did average irrigation, fed the birds had nice breakfast: cooked mixture of maize and beans with coffee. By 9:30 I was on my way to the cyber. I indent to complete the first chapter of my novel: “THE BATTLE OUT OF THE BOTTLE”. I also have a transcribing course in waiting. I hope to learn a lot on the same. Again, I have to learn something on Avocado grafting. I have over 20 rootstocks that are already over 1year old and I feel they are fine for grafting. I have identified a good fruit bearing mature avocado tree and I intent to get scions from it. I hope to make the best of my day and add some value in my endeavours.

My uncle was very good at grafting from one tree to another. He had one tree that bore five different varieties of stone fruit - peach, nectarine, apricot, and two types of plum.
