My goodness, this kid is really annoying I have to tell his mom last night that I don't want to tutor him anymore. I've been patient with him since I want to earn 500 pesos a week but yesterday I had enough. His mom is annoying too always telling me to scare him and be angry with him so he will learn. The kid has ADHD. My other parents don't tell me that First time to have a parent telling me to always scold her son I allow him to play a bit. He moves fast and his hands move fast. I caught him playing with match sticks got angry and scold him and tell him if you burn our house can you replace it? Need to shout often. He Turned on my laminating machine and it got too hot. Yesterday was enough he cut the cord of our door bell. I told my father and he got mad too. And many many more annoying things he do and at the end of every session I'm so stressed. Thank God today he's gone But on the other side the boy is cute and intelligent but sometimes he has that evil look in his eyes

Girl, I am glad you got rid of him and never take him back. It is not worth your sanity.

It should be in special class. Here in our place we have special education for that kind of kid. The teachers have a great patience to handle them.

That's good that you are not tutoring him anymore. I could never handle a hyper kid like that.

Yes. After our session my little school is a mess. I'm busy doing his assignments while he is busy messing around

Evil kid? Really? Kids diagnosed with ADHD need understanding and the right guidance not constant scolding—which it sounds like even the mom doesn’t really get. They have special needs and require proper handling. If you’re not trained to manage his energy and behavior, it’s natural to get stressed. Even the kid would get stressed. Honestly, it's a good thing you decided to let go! It’s better for BOTH OF YOU to have a tutor who knows how to handle ADHD so the kid gets the support he truly needs and for you not to burn out from stress.

The kid doesn't know that what he is doing is not good? What kind of brain that child has? It is the mother's fault she should discipline her son and teach him to respect other people's things or belongings

@averygirl72 Clearly, you’re not the right person to tutor a child with ADHD, and that’s exactly why it was the best decision to step away. Blaming the child or oversimplifying it as ‘bad brain’ only shows a lack of knowledge. Stepping back was actually the most responsible decision you have ever made—for both you and the kid. Good that you know you are not the right teacher for him.

Good to know the evil kid has gone,I knew tutoring a naughty kid is a torture. You can charge more than 500pesos due to hard work, here the tutor fee is far more than 500.
