Face Blindness: Are YOU?!?

If someone doesn't recognize you right away, they may defend themselves by claiming that they're "bad with faces." This means that they have trouble recalling and recognizing someone's face. You may assume that they are merely attempting to brush off a humiliating situation. But in reality, having trouble with faces is a medically recognized illness. This condition is called prosopagnosia, or face blindness, and a recent study indicates that everyone should be more conscious of it. In general, do you think you're excellent with faces? I remember faces... It's names to go with the faces that I have trouble remembering.

@Shavkat I've never been good at remembering names. I have no idea why, though.

@DaddyEvil I used to know names of others. As the years go by, I am not good at it.

Yes , I can say I'm good in faces but I can't recognize some Filipino celebrities and I thought they were look alike.

At some point, I do have the skills of recognizing the faces. For the names, I am quite forgetful sometimes.

@Shavkat I think you are still young for you to be forgetful sometimes. In what age group are you belong?

I am not sure if it is aging concern. I noticed that I am quite forgetful when being stressed out.

I am famous for forgetting faces and the last one was when I did not recognise someone who had given a speech at one of my Christmas parties

I have the same episodes sometimes. Regardless, I am so itchy to ask their names if they continue having a small talk with me. Then, I will apologize for forgetting their names.

@Shavkat That celebrity must have been offended when I said that I had seen her somewhere

I also have the same concern. Although I must admit that I pretend knowing their names.

If I am not preoccupied, I must say that I cannot forget their faces and names.

I wasn’t aware of that term before. I really couldn’t say for sure if I have it, but most of the time, I don’t recognize people right away when I meet them on the street. It’s usually only after a few moments—or when they start talking—that I realize who they are. Does that qualify me to being one?

I think it is not considered one. If it will take a long time, then it will be diagnosed one.
