Finally got to rest a bit

Stayed home today. Talked to my 3 hr friend. Only talked 2 hours. Watched my "Kids" eat. Today was a No Corn Cob day for the squirrels. Nutty went and sat on the feeder, then sprawled across it and looked pleadingly at me. I shook my head no. He stood up and put his claws around the empty cob and peeped around it at me. NO! He then got down and went over to the bird food and ate up sunflower seeds, corn and nuts. Which is okay, since the Doves like the seeds more than those. Blackie showed up, and I fed him. Sat the dish down close to me, and he ate there, but he saw Nutty sitting on the ground in front of the tree eating a sunflower seed, and Blackie started to run at him. I stopped him, and Blackie went and sat under Tom's truck for a while. I watched closely. But when he came out, Nutty ran up the tree and started chattering at Blackie. It was kind of funny. They really are like "Kids". At one time I had 6 squirrels, and over 20 Doves eating in our front yard. One Dove has a really thick beak, and looks like there is like a wreath around the upper part of the beak. Doesn't seem to bother his eating, but looks weird. I took a video of him, but have to transfer it to my computer before I can post it. I fixed MeatLoaf, Hoppin John Beans, and Mashed Taters for supper.
