My spring rolls were a flop

Although they were tasty the spring rolls that I talked about were a flop. It was a long time ago that I had made them and gave them a try again yesterday The mistake was that I used rice batter instead of all purpose flour to make those thin pancakes as we call them
They opened while they were being deep fried.
Very disappointed.

Rice is soaked overnight and the batter prepared. The pan rools turned OK as they were not be deep fried.

Ah, that’s frustrating! At least you know what went wrong this time .. next round with all-purpose flour will probably turn out much better.

All purpose flour is loaded with gluten and that is why I avoid it but once in a way it should be fine
