The kids have been on a nonstop snack mission lately—every five minutes it’s, “Do, we have something to eat?” So this order is kind of a mixture of survival supplies: snacks for them, some meats for meals, and a few quick-and-easy options for those school nights when nobody has the energy to cook a full dinner. Basically, a balance of “please stop asking for food” and “I don’t want to wash a million dishes tonight.” The beer was actually free—well, kind of. It’s part of a freelance thing I did, and now we have a stack of coupons for it. So I usually just toss one into every order, because why not? Free beer always tastes a little better. Now, the Dawn Powerwash—my absolute favorite dish soap. I swear by it. Usually, I just grab the original, but today I spotted a Gain-scented one, and I had never seen that before. Obviously, I had to grab it. Clean dishes and that fresh laundry smell? Yes, please. Overall, nothing too wild or exciting in today’s delivery—just the usual mix of “family fuel” and “mom’s little victories.” Do you ever do grocery delivery orders? Or do you prefer wandering the aisles yourself and seeing what random things fall into the cart?

For a moment there, I thought you had Vegemite up the back but perhaps it's peanut butter.

Mike places orders at Walmart and I'll go pick them up. Haven't been inside a Walmart in a long time. Sometimes if they don't have an item, they will deliver it within a couple of days. I normally go there on Wednesday mornings. After I pick up from there, I go to our local grocery store and get what else we need. and the sales that they have. You are right, "free" does taste better.
